Auto Financing While in 60 Day Wait

So here I am feeling great that my 341 seemed to go well. Still not on Pacer yet.

So today I find out that my company is taking away our company cars Oct 15th and I do not own another. I travel 30K miles a year.

I really don't have the cash to buy one now, is there anyway that I can apply for a loan while just finishing my 341.

Any words of wisdom would be appreciated as always

We just received an offer in the mail the other day (which I tossed) from www.fundingway.com. They were fine w/ financing an open BK, but you had to have your 341 meeting completed. I'd say you could definitely get a car if you need it, and there are probably other companies willing to do the same. Good luck!

After filing, we got several offers in the mail from USBank for a 722 replacement/redemption loan. We investigated and were able to purchase a vehicle through them only days before the 341. The trustee had no problem whatsoever with this, as replacement loans are allowed during the BK process. The loan did come with a very high interest rate, but there is no pre-payment penalty, so in a year we're hoping to get a loan to refinace it. However, USBank indicated to us that they will lower the interest after 12 months of on time pay.

I think getting financed right now is going to be hard because of the whole economy thing.

While I hate to suggest this is do you have any 401k money you can borrow from? Any mass transit near you?

These bankruptcy friendly lenders are the worst!

Thanks everyone for the input. There really isn't public transportation where I am and where I travel to. I don't travel to one particular place, I am in sales and travel to different locations in both NY, NJ and Ct.
