    I think I screwed up....

I had a nationally advertized special last week called SpaWeek and made some good money. I extended it to last Sat and made more...now thats its over I'll be back to being soooo slow. I wondering two things
1: Will making alot of money for two weeks in a row hurt me if Im going to file in Jan or Feb (within 6 months) After I pay my rent both pers/bus I'll have only 1k in my account and with how slow it'll be..I should be ok, just freaking out abit..

2: While going thru my personal bank register I bought a computer at Costco for tax included $715. in aug. Crap why didnt I pay cash for it. Its going back to Costco in a month but now it shows up in my personal account. Its still under 750 but will that matter?

The six-month lookback just totals your income for the last six months. I had a couple of decent gigs during mine that I was really worried about, but the total income over that six months was still so laughably under the median it made NO difference. As slow as business has been for you, I'll bet you're okay. Try not to be too successful between now and the holidays, okay?!

The computer's a little trickier. You may have to wait a bit longer to file...what does your lawyer say?

As for income just sit down and refigure your 6 month lookback pay. If it wasn't to much it shouldn't have boosted you to far. If it did might mean another month or two wait til you file.

Probably on the computer discuss with your lawyer.

Thanks everyone, I just I get had a panick attack

Yea Im sure I'll be ok with the income..I took some checks and cashed them at their banks so I have the cash tucked away for safe keeping. That also wont be in my bank account. Actually after I pay my rent at home and work I wont have much left anyway.
As far as the computer it wasnt on a cc I dont use them anymore and havent in a while. I wrote a check for that. That was dumb. Gotta think CASH !!!!
Whats the luxury limit, I forget? Is it 750? Is that just for cc's or anything?
No I havent filied yet and wont til Jan, Feb, or even March if I can hold out that long.
BOA sent me out a statement and changed my interest rate and late fee..Kinda freaked me out that they want over 800.00 now..tough toe nails...the scarey part will come Nov. when Citi will start wanting their money after they gave me 2 months to slide on paying them...BOA wouldnt talk to me but as everyone says thats their MO..

I had a 5k bonus during the 6 month look back, but no one said anything about it.

Sounds like you have your own business?

A 750 dollar computer is not a luxury. I'd mention it to the lawyer but I wouldn't sweat it.

If you are under the median, there's a great chance they won't even look at your bank statements.
