Skip CC payments with permission and file later

Hello,
Because of a large commission payment in July, I may need to delay filing until February but I am going to have to stop paying on my credit cards now.

I would like to delay the invetible calls as long as possible and to do so I would like to call the companies before I am late and ask to skip a payment. I have heard many will allow this one time.

Does anyone know if there would be (or could) any negative effects of this when I eventually file later down the road?

They might be able to do something if you promise to pay. I wouldn't sign anything saying that you will continue to pay after the skipped payment.

I don't know of any ramifications but as Jessegirl says don't sign anything.

However this will only delay the calls a month.

I got 2 months from Citi but Im not paying them after that...I doubt if thats a problem
