Some of us reading this have not gotten to this point yet. Hopefully I will be able to file in the first quarter of 2009 to get where you are now.

I would call and follow up with a snail mail letter, certified, return receipt, that you had filed the amended paperwork with the trustee at your second 341, and ask for an explanation since no mention was made at the second 341. If your amended paperwork has NOT appeared on your PACER file, I would send copies of the amended apaperwork along with your letter to the trustee to the clerk of your BK court. Again, all mail should be certified, return receipt.

          Good luck.

You are fine, You scewed up by either using the wrong exemptions for your stuff or not exempting some assets. The order just reiterated the alabama exemptions and the fact that the Trustee filed his/her NDR (No Distribution Report) means you are good to go barring any objections from creditors, you should get your discharge in 60 to 75 days.

            Good Luck

              BKParalegal I love you!!! lol

Seriously that takes a lot off of my chest. My discharge is scheduled for the 28th and I cant wait for a fresh start. I already applied and got approved for an Orchard Bank card and waiting for it in the mail. I plan to basically max it out monthly on things like utilities and groceries and then pay it in full each month. I want to do this to show on my credit report a high balance that is paid in full each month.

I have not even been discharged yet and some creditors are showing IIB. I am hoping I dont have to do to much cleanup.

I took the OP's post as saying that they have NOT seen where that was entered.

I wouldn't quite max it out. That shows high utilization of available credit. A good game plan would be to carry a 30% balance (but no more than that) and pay it off with more than the minimum payment each month.. Credit card companies only report once a month and if you don't carry a balance ever it could go moot. I would say carry a balance and pay it off the next month, off and on, so that it's reported that you are using only 1/3 of available balance and making the payment over time, but not allowing interest to increase your balance too much.
