Vehicle surrender question

I have received my final decree in my chapter 7 case (last month). I have a vehicle that I am now feeling like I should have surrendered. I did not reaffirm this debt, but had initially planned on keeping it. What are my options? If I surrender it now will I have pay a deficiency balance on it?

call the bank you have to laon with and ask them where they want you to drop it off or tell them to come get it

To play it safe, you can amend your statement of intentions to say surrender, but it is not necessary. Just do as TEW said.

If you didn't sign the reaff. you should be fine. Call the bank and give it back. They were listed and notified of the bankruptcy I am assuming, so without the reaff. they don't have any proof that you intended to keep the vehicle.
