How long does it usually take to receive reaffirmation paperwork once you file for BK? Our lawyer stated that we wanted to reaffirm on our car and house (both 1st and 2nd) on 9/8 and we have not yet seen any paperwork.

The creditor for my vehicle showed up at my 341 meeting and met me outside the meeting and asked me if I was going to reaffirm. I said yes and signed the papers on the spot.Retained Attorney: 08/04/08

No, neither. I was just curious as to when the papers might be coming. I checked my credit report since we updated it after filing, and our car loan and house loan information were deleted! So nothing good nor bad was posted. I thought that was a little strange. If you don not reaffirm, they will not report, correct?Filed Chapter 7 September 8th, 2008!
