*phew* My day started out VERY interesting.

I had to drive to get to the Federal Courthouse in one of the bigger cities near me. Kalamazoo if you've ever heard of such a place! lol So I left the house at 8:00 and it's a 23 minute drive. The lawyer told me to be there by 8:45 so we could chit chat and make sure everything was still the same and such.

Not only did I get caught by EVERY red light here in my town, but I got caught by a large, slow train in downtown K-Zoo. IT WAS TERRIBLE. My nerves were absolutely frayed and I was praying outloud to God that I wouldn't be late. By the time the train was done, it was 8:40. My fiance pulled us into the courthouse at 8:43 and he told me to just RUN to the door and he'd catch up.

So I made it in, went through the metal detectors at 8:46. Side Note: The Federal Courthouse reminds me of the place in Men in Black, by the way. I sat down, and actually without realizing it, said good morning to the trustee. I thought he was a lawyer! lol Surprisingly he was a super nice guy. He handed me the information sheet and a form to fill out. And my lawyer came in a few minutes later.

At 9:00 sharp the trustee called me and my lawyer in. We sat down, he asked all of the normal questions "are you So and So," "Are these papers yours" "Did you transfer any balances." "did you give any stuff away." I had in my folder: my two years of tax returns, all my paystubs since filing, all my bank statements since filing, and my fiance's spreadsheet (he's self employed). The ONLY thing the Trustee asked me for was, *drum roll please* my statement from August! I was like THINKING: "That's it, really? You're not going to ask for a DNA sample?"

My 341 lasted a grand total of 7 minutes. It was one of the easiest things I've ever had to sit through. I wish EVERYONE that kind of 341 in their future.

Thank you All SO MUCH for your support these last couple of months. I really don't think I would have been as well informed or well armed about this whole situation.

So now I can sit back and try not to worry the next 60 days, and in two weeks, marry my high school sweetheart on a wedding paid for with JUST CASH. It's just a good feeling knowing that he and I paid for it on our own WITHOUT credit cards or debt luming over our heads.

                Pinkie,

Thats great! But are you sure you weren't drunk? Just kidding! So glad it went well - short and sweet!

I hope you have a beautiful and memorable wedding and a very happy life together. My husband and I paid for our own little wedding (all cash) and are still very happily married 37 years later.

                Great going girl!

                          Thanks again all!

Oh! I forgot to mention - no creditors showed up. Apparently they realized that you cannot squeeze blood from a no-asset owning turnip.

Hi Pinkie: That is the news we LOVE to read--especially that the wedding is paid for with cash.

Welcome to the 60 Day Club, and be assured that our best wishes go with you.
