    341 Meeting Scheduled Ques..

I filed on aug 15th, just got a letter saying the 341 meeting is next month on the 20th.

Also said i needed to give the trustee records of account, bank books, bank statements and cancelled checks for 6 months before.

What if i only can get the statements? Is that enough?

Also says any titles to cars, mobile homes and such.. Only have one car in my name valued at less then allowed $2500 for a vehicle.

Do they just want to verify the age, make of the vehicle?

Also says to have these given to the trustee within 10 days of the letter. (Only date i see if the 15th, and the letter came today so that would only give me until the 25th.. ) I have to get all this info from my spouse as well but she lives in a different county so getting it all will be a challenge..

Okay we had to provide the same things. We gave them bank statements, titles(they want to see if you have anything of value), statement of accounts, etc. We had a form we had to fill out if we could NOT provide them with specific information and had to give reason why. We paid off one of our cars after our 341 so we had a title to that vehicle. We were afraid the trustee would then decide we should convert because we were no longer paying that car note - but she didnt. Typically, they ask for anything of value...doesnt mean they suspect anything. It is SOP(standardoperatingprocedure). My advice is give them what they ask for and if you cant, tell them why. Good luck...

Did they want to see a checking book? Or just the bank statements?

And whats this statement of accounts?

WAIT A SECOND.. that info came in your packet? Mom sent in her papers on the 16th, and her meeting is on the 20th of September too, but she hasn't even looked at anything other then the date of the meeting. Should I go get the stupid papers and look through them to be sure she doesn't need to do anything?? Ugh.. mom's..

It probably wouldn't hurt to look through the papers. . . but we got a separate letter from the trustee just asking for us to bring proof of our SS # so far.

Okay, now I'm concerned - I filed on the 15th but have yet to see any sort of papers ....

Whittio - get the papers from your mom, sounds like she's put you in a position where if doesn't go thru it'll somehow be your fault, especially after the post on getting cable ... I somewhat think that she doesn't really understand the work you've been doing.

            What's a bank book?

              What packet?

I used an online service to prep the forms, went to the states website and prep'd the papers to the local rules and took them downtown in person.

Local rules on the states website said 4 copies, stapled and hole punched and put in a certain order. I get downtown and they only need 1 copy and no staples or hole punching.

Only thing ive received was today and that was telling me when the meeting was and what was needed to be turned in. (3 pieces of paper and one was blank)

I filed on 8/15, got the form B9A on 8/20 telling me of the 341 meeting.
Says deadline to file a complaint objecting discharge is 11/21/05.

When i turned in the papers they said they schedule two 341 meetings every 15 minutes.

Normally they take 2-3 copies and keep one, stamp the others as "filed". So you have a copy for yourself, and one for your attorney I suppose?

I only know this because when we have had to do court stuff for restraining orders, you have to do everything in triplicate or even more if you have to file a copy with the sheriff's dept. But they should have stamped your copies with the case number I would suspect?

Mom got her 2 'copies' back, both were stamped FILED. I don't know what else she got, I need to call her today. Last night she had already started drinking, and wasn't very coherent. :s

I filed pro'se. They put a sticker with the case # on the front page, copied the front page and gave me that. Then they typed it in thier computer as I was leaving..
