They are coming to the house to look at my stuff and their appraisals are very high. They are not true appraisals. What do i do??I am scared

I think most of us are scared of the same thing. The thing is, out where I live, most everything is expensive to replace, but if you tried to sell it locally, you'd be lucky to get 10 cents on the dollar here. I bought my sofa new for $1200. It was beautiful. I posted numerous messages on Craiglist and only got $120.
They can appraise it for whatever ridiculous amount they want, but that doesn't mean there's a line of buyers out there for it.
How far is your house from the courthouse? Is it a big deal for them to drive out there to see your stuff? Are you keeping a home or giving one back as a foreclosure?
