Bk ....public record forver?

I read ,one persons post on here sayin ...BK remains PUBLIC RECORD FOREVER....can someone please explain how exactly does that work? Does the same applies , when it comes to forclosure?

Yes it does. As an example, PACER. Your hearings, trials, and actions, are Public Record for eternity. It is the same as if you married one person, divorced and remarried another. The second marriage does not erase the paperwork of the first marriage. Each courthouse has a recording room to digitize legal documents. If you go into the archives you will see public documents in very heavy large books called Grantors and Grantees and Indexes. Years ago a legal document was hand copied ver batim into these books. Let’s say it is a Deed. The original the owner has, the copy is in that big book forever. Then microfilm came, now computers. That is the way it works. ‘Hub

10 years on your credit report. if you include the mortage in your BK it will show IIB not forclosure. but the banks know what that means.

TEW 10 years is for reason of the Credit companies. The legal action of bk is never destroyed. Go onto PACER and search any John Doe and you may see records decades ago if they digitize that far yet. It is an ongoing to digitize all Public Records and even the old ones in time. Most Counties only go back to let's say 1995 on the computer, but the hard copies or microfilm is currently being digitized also. This is not just one state, but all states. 'Hub

Yes, if they have reason to do so. Now they will also have to know what to look for. County records can be searched in Florida by any county and any name, or all counties, any name. Federal Records are in Federal Court. They would have to know where. Why your concern? This is not new news.
