filing in the next few hours (hopefully)

so had some obstacles in the way today but we just got back from the lawyers we signed everything so now just waiting a phone call from the lawyers secretary to know if the filing went through..hopefully all goes welll!

p.s the lawyer didn't even meet with us because he was to busy..were your lawyers there when you signed the papers?

depends on who you classify as my lawyer. I met with one guy for the consultation, signed the paperwork with another, and had a 3rd at my 341. All 3 were lawyers (not paralegals) at the firm I filled with.

*Yes my lawyer was present for the signing, though his paralegal actually typed it all up and most contact was with the paralegal. She had both of us sign the papers, me first then the lawyer.

Keep in mind I filed last year though and bk filings are way up now days, so long as his agent was present (secretary/paralegal) then he could say he had witness you had signed the petition so its still okay .
