Discharge!

Day 73. I went to rent an apartment yesterday and was told I couldn't rent until my bk was discharged. I called the clerk today and explained the situation and she said "Give me a moment. Ok, you are now closed and discharged." I sent her a kiss and a hug through the phone.

Thanks for all the support. I'll sit down and writeup what I did to get a chapter 7 while being $25K over median income but first I'm going to my favorite bar (which I've missed for over a year now) and have a jack and coke.

Man, this is AWESOME NEWS!! I am so thrilled to read this information.

No apartment and still no drink.

I think everything caught up with me so after calling a few friends I fell into a deep sleep.

Countrywide still hasn't set a date for the foreclosure which means I'll be staying at least another month. I've got a lot of my stuff already packed and I have $600 set aside for a 2 men and a truck (I'm only in a one bedroom condo). Every 2 months I stay is means I can put 1 month of emergency money into the bank.

I'll keep everyone posted.
