We have a combined total of about $75 in bank accounts, no exemptions here in Kansas, but he said they probably won't take it. I am wondering about what you all call the '60 day' club. Our lawyer is currently handling 2 bankruptcies, and our state is not high in foreclosures or bankruptcies, but the lawyer told us the bankruptcy won't be discharged for about 6 months. (from today) Is it just that the timeframe is different for different states?

I don't know about KS, but $75 is nothing......
The 60 day club starts the day of your 341 meeting and is there for creditors to object. And then that day is your "discharge" date.
Bankruptcy is mostly a federal cycle, so six months is hard to imagine unless you are an asset case.
Get a PACER account (sticky on that) and keep track. Let us know!Filed C7 Aug 31 2008
