lawyer made mistake on petition :-/

So the lawyers secretary calls and tells me today that the court called to tell them there is a mistake on one of the schedules...I am about to go pick up the corrections paper.

Will this be a problem at our 341? I'm so scared.

No it shouldn't be if the mistake is corrected. Was the mistake a biggie? What was it?

It won't affect your 341 so long as its corrected which looks like your lawyer is doing .

Sounds like they are on top of it if they are amending prior to the 341. I'm sure the 341 will be fine. There has been times that the BK software has made an error or I have (did you know I am human?) we have caught it right away and amended before the meeting. The trustee shouldn't have any issue with it. It is more irritating to them if they get to the meeting when there is an obvious error and the schedules have to be amended before they can conclude the meeting.

One time, shortly after we got our new software, schedule I was blank!! Filled with zeros!! I know I entered the information but it wasn't there when electronically filed, the error wasn't caught until the 341, we were able to amend it immediately afterwards, no harm done. Of course the software company was stumped. I still would prefer to do the forms by hand, but that is no longer an option for attorney's in our district.
