    good sign?

We had our 341 two days ago. Checked Pacer today and this was entered:

FIRST MEETING HELD. TRUSTEE'S REPORT OF NO DISTRIBUTION. Trustee of this estate reports and certifies that the trustee has performed the duties required of a trustee under 11 U.S.C. Sec. 704 and has concluded that there are no assets to administer for the benefit of creditors of this estate. I have received no funds or property of the estate, and paid no monies on account of the estate. It is in the best interest of all parties that any such nonexempt property be deemed abandoned pursuant to notice of the first meeting of creditors and 11 U.S.C. Sec. 554(c). Wherefore, the trustee prays that this report be approved and the trustee be discharged from office

    Sounds good?!?

Yes, that is a good sign. Sounds like your bankruptcy will end without a hitch (at least from the trustee).

Remeber, it still takes at least 60 days from the date of your 341 meeting to receive your discharge.

Our file on PACER never showed a 'Trustee Report of No Distribution', although it is still listed as a no-asset case. Howevber, as I've posted elsewhere we did get our discharge (on PACER and in the mail) a few days ago.

Does the trustee sometimes not file on of those?

That's what my PACER account said. This last Friday, I was discharged! It was to be on Aug 1st, and finally posted on Aug 19th! I even had 2 liens on my home removed. Whew! Be patient it will happen!
