when do you meet the trustee?

I am asking because of the whole cash advance on my moms cc in June 2008. It was for 6600. The lawyer said we may be able to just tell the trustee that we will pay for it so they do not bother my mom but I do not want them even calling her as she is not knowing about us filing bk.

So basically, when do you meet the trustee and how would you go about offering to pay it(although we already paid it off with our retirement way before we even considered bk)

In most situations, you meet the trustee at your 341 meeting, at least that's when I did. I've been in my Ch 13 for almost 19 months now, and that's the only time I met him. If any questions arise, he directs them to my attorney, and my attorney in return contacts me.
