recieved a letter from my attorney

we have our 341 in 2.5 weeks they sent a letter saying they have received a Reaffirmation agreement for one of our cars and also they have received a requesr for a narrative statement regarding the circumstances for our unsecured debt from out chapter 7 trustee.

Did anyone else have this I am so so scared (( is this bad news??
also did anyone else reafirm their car? also if I did would i be able to lengthen the car loan? we originally had 72 months and hubby changed it to 60, i would prefer it back to the longer term.... but the letter is worrying me..

also if the trustee asked for that... is there a chance they could ask for more or do they normally look for what they need then ask for everything at once??

    my heart is racing....

A reaffirmation does not change any terms... Its basically stating you will continue to pay for the auto and if you do not pay they can sue you and you are no longer protected under bankruptcy. This is normal and nothing to be worried about.

        I am worried

about the narrative letter they want, is this normal? (even though attorneys have made us more in debt than we are on schdeule f with mistakes)

        also to reafirm or not?

Not true about changing terms. I changed the terms on my reaffirmation with my credit union. I dropped the interest rate to 5%, dropped the balance owed and extended the term (just a couple of months) and skipped a payment. You can renegotiate reaffirmations. Just not everyone will renegotiate. The other vehicle I have to surrender because the lender would not change the terms (different lenders)
