Okay. I am freaking out here (like most- I'm sure). I received my court date for my 341 meeting. Is that it? It was just one piece of paper? It didn't say that I needed to bring anything but a driver's license and ss card. If the trustee wants bank statements or anything else, would it have said that on the paper? Does the trustee actually look over your paperwork prior to the 341 meeting? Also, I need to make a correction to my paperwork. Is this a major problem? Thanks so much.

Mine said the same thing. I'm bringing a folder with 3 months worth of bank statements, etc. just in case. The trustee could still send a letter asking for more. What do you need to correct? I had to amend my petition so I could make some changes to my schedules. I called the court clerk to find out what was required to amend. There are rules you have to follow, but its our right to amend.Last edited by freshstarter; 08-29-2005, 05:13 PM.

Originally posted by sobrokeI have to add $200 a month to my income. My husband receives a bonus check every month for that amount. I totally forgot about this at the time my paperwork was filed.
Sorry to say, but that maybe enough disposable income to put you in a chapter 13 if you happen to mention this. At this stage it won't look good to add $200 in income and "inflate" your expenses by $200. Find out what your lawyer says if you have one.

Yes, this bonus check is guaranteed. I do not need to inflate my expenses. We are in the red by at least $500 each month so that hopefully won't be an issue. I am so nervous. I go to court in less than two weeks. Please send good vibes my way. I will let everyone know what happens. Thanks for keeping me sane (somewhat)

Just CALM DOWN, it will all be okay, you will see!!!!
We have all experienced your nerves, and most were amazed at the results in the end.
Hopefully, you won't have any problems either.....
Now its the "sit and wait" period of BK.....nerve wrecking.....but its really painless....
Afterwards, it's "rebuild the credit score"..........
Hang in there, have a toddie for the body, and be patient!!!

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.
