It depends on how busy the US Trustee is in your area. But usually, the UST gets involved at, or just after the 341 meeting.

B65 and everyone else in here. Nothing to worry about, I just had my 341 today and it was easy.

Like B65 I am a no asset case. I was the 3rd one called.
          Today went like this:

          1) Trustee called me and attorney up.
          2) Sworn in.
          3) Asked me a series of yes/no questions. From what I can remember:

"Do you own a house?" (he asked me this 2 times!)
          "Anyone owe you money?"
"Ever been in an accident and now some one owes you money"?
"Is this your signature"? (on the form).
"Is that your ID and Social Security card"? (or something like that.)

Asked me 2-3 more yes/no and then asked why I filed.

          4) Said that's it, me and attorney left.

I was nervous until I entered the room. There was about 15-20 people there. So hang in there, its really not bad at all!

The UST got involved about 3 weeks before our 341. He requested alot of additional information like, 2 years of cc statements, 2 years of bank statements, all refiance papers which by the way was 370 pages, all utitilies bills for the past year and my car lease paperwork. I natually did not have all the information that he requested. Who keeps cc statements for the long? I don't. That was about 2 months ago, i have never heard from them again and HOPE that i never do.....
