Scheduled my pre-filing counseling apppointment...

I have my pre-filing counseling appointment over the phone on Tuesday night. Sucks that I have to pay $75.00. Not looking forward to it. Hoping that I will file later this week.

So, any tips or advice on the counseling?

I have some advice. Go with another company. The 75.00 is to much. Most places only charge 50.00 and some let you do it on your own time online.

Ditto mike. $75 is too much - I used greenpath.com and they were GREAT. All on-line, all filed electronically with my lawyer and with the court promptly, and a lot cheaper.

I might be biased, but I have issues with Greenpath. I really wish I'd looked here before going with what my lawyer suggested, Greenpath. There is a sticky at the top of this forum that lists suggestions for other companies to use. I would highly suggest looking at that and looking into the costs for those companies before making a final decision. Most of them come in well under $75 or even $50 for both the pre and post filing courses.
