    New question....about household

Are alot of questions asked about the people living in your house. My mom began living with us3 weeks before we filed and we told the Lawyer it would be temporary, but they still included her since she was there the day we filed. They changed it from a houshold of 4 to 5. Now shes ready to move out, but im afraid to let her. Just wondering how much they press on this? Thank you so much everyone! I think that will be my last question for the night. I HOPE! They just keep popping into my head!

I am not sure if I would even bring that up especially if you are not supporting your mom & she is not giving you anything & she has her own income & all.

They might ask you if anything in your BK papers has changed since you filed.

What would you say? Your mom moved out? I would not bother with that unless they ask you a direct question about your mom. I wonder why your attorney even wrote it down as 5, unless you needed that extra to get your ch7?

that is not advice, that is just what I would do if it were me.

Yeah, not sure why your attorney would have your mom added for such a short stay unless he was trying to solidify your case for a Ch 7.

I am including both my parents to make it a household of 3 even though they don't currently stay with me and will not when I file for Ch 7 in Jan or Feb. However, they've both stayed with me most of the year 2008 and I was responsible for most of their support. And here's the key.... they were included, SSN and all, in my taxes for 2007 and will be included in my 2008 taxes when I file as head of household.

Other than tax forms, I am not sure how they verify size of household anyways. They certainly don't have other members of the household show up at the meetings. If it were me, I wouldn't add your mom if it has no effect on your filing for Ch 7. But that's just me too.
