I'm just registered today but I've been reading here for about 3 months. I'm in Mississippi and was placed on medical retirement from my employer this past September due to a permanent illness. I will receive 50% of my BASE salary plus my wife works. I've also applied for SS. my total income was 78k (I worked alot of overtime NOT calculated in medical retirement) annual income will now be around 48k. I have about 12k in Credit cards and a 500mo. truck note WE NEED to file on(Joint accts. w/wife)....I have a small 5k in savings i'm using to subsidize my income until I get on Social security. But I'm running through it FAST. I have a 20yr mortgage thats got 18 yrs. left @ 1045mo. I WANT TO KEEP...Its 10 acres and a triple wide..I owe approx. 145k and its worth 200k. I'm current on Mortgage and behind on truck and cc's any comments, ideas or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated
