I guess it went okay. We sat and watched a couple others before ours and theirs went by in a matter of mins. They were all asked the same questions to verify their identity, then they were done.... But ours seemed to have taken the longest! I guess it was because we seemed to be the only ones keeping our vehicles. But after all was said and done, he didnt reschedule us or dig into anything. He just said any creditors here on behalf of us, well apparently not. Best of luck to you mr. and mrs." Then our lawyer met us out in the waiting area and said " Well, everything seemed to go well.... you'll be discharged in about 60 days." My question now, is does the trustee continue to investigate through our information? And he didnt mention anything about our taxes....so i didnt want to say anything, but we are set to file 2 days after our discharge date. Do we have to report our refund?

I wouldn't worry about that. Look on Pacer and find your Report of No Distribution (no asset case) and then the trustee is done with you and quits looking.

We were not asked "why did you file"?
Went like this:
1) state your name and address
2) is this your ID and SS card?
3) Have you reviewed your paperwork prior to filing?
4) Is this your signature
5) Do you own a home?
6) What did you pay for it?
7) What do you owe on it now?
8) What is the current value of the home and where did you come up with that figure?
9) Have you given anything away within the last year?
10) Do you expect to receive a tax refund
11) Do you expect to receive an inheiritence?
12) I was provided this copy of your 2007 tax return - is this correct?
13) Are there any creditors here on behalf of -------? Apparently not. here's your ID's and paperwork and you are done.

What type of question did the Trustee ask you regarding your vehicles? We are keeping ours also and had to send the Trustee last week a print out from Kelly Blue Book for "private sale" but I'm still paying for both cars and both cars have no equity since they are not worth the balance I owe on the car.

The trustee never even brought up our vehicles. We plan to keep both.

We have 4 houses and are surrendering 2 of the rentals. The trustee just made a notation next to the properties that we are surrendering.

He just asked for all of our info. Registration, Insurance, Payoff amounts, and KBB. Then he just threw them on a pile of papers & was done with them. Had my meeting on Dec. 4th. Checked PACER todayand he filed stating no distribution of assets! AHHH! YEAAHH! WHOOHOOO!!!!!!

Thank you - she requested all the information that you mentioned to be mailed to her, so maybe she won't ask any other questions. I'm so nervous - I wish it was already tomorrow. How early did you go? Mine is at 11 a.m. I don't know what time to get there. I don't want to go too early and be even more nervous. I really don't know what I'm nervous about - maybe just the unexpected.
