Good news - Bad news

I just found out that I have some $4700.00 in a stock account I didn't know I had.

The statements I had been receiving were showing abot $250.00 in cash sitting there and a spread on orange juice. The last time I had ask I was told the spread was worth nothing.

Yesterday I received my statement and showed a close out on the OJ and the $4700.00 in my account.

So I assume virtually all of this will go to pay Ccards, right?

Do you have any exemptions left? I'd definitely ask your attorney.

Well, it appears here in the great state of FL that there really isn't much in the way of exemptions - only $1000.00 and no wild card. There is a homestead exemption and if you don't claim it you pick up another $4000.00 to use as a "wild card". And if you only use a part of the 4 grand the rest can be used as exemption. - jb
