    QUESTION-I sold my engagement ring . . .

to someone for cash over 1 year ago. Right before this I separated from my husband but we are now back together working things out. We finally have court in December for chp 7 and I just found out my husband never took the ring off his insurance policy. We live in MI. What should we do????

    Thanks in advance

If the question is asked, all you can do is tell the truth.

Yeah, I would avoid filing a claim with the insurance company. That's just bad karma. I mean, if that is what you are asking.
Much thanks for all the support and information I receive on this forum.

No should we just cancel the policy now? Or should we pretend like we didn't know we still have it if they ask us about it. Will they ask us who I sold it too? I don't know who the person was. They paid cash and so on. It was on craigslist. My husband bought that ring with a credit card and I think the price was $25,000 and I didn't add too many zeros either ..

Well of course cancel the insurance on the ring.
Aagin, if asked all you can do is tell the truth. You may be asked what you did with the money.
