Getting more and more nervous by the hour.
Here's my question.... my hubby made a lot of cash over the summer about 1400.00 doing odd jobs for friends ad family. The income was reported in our bankruptcy filing paperwork...thing is...we used that money to pay up our regular bills in cash such as rent (paid up 2 months) and some utilities. So the trustee only asked for us to bring 3 months of bank statements which we turned over to the attorney. They do not show any of my husbands income being used to pay any utilities or rent. Just all our other expenses. Will they ask about that at the meeting?? Will they say.."hey, where is rent and utility payments?"? We don't have any receipts too. Bad about paperwork. We have tons of fast food expenses (I never realized how bad our spending problems were which is why we're in this mess). I am just concerned that they are going to want proof that we pay rent and utilities and we don't have proof on paper.
I gave birth in Aug 5 weeks early so my grandma took care of rent and bills that month so I could take care of last minute things I needed and the lawyer told me that his paperwork says I paid bills that month so not to bring it up because one month does not matter!! Won't the trustee want proof?
