Walked away from lease/ can it be discharged

I had to break a lease and just got a judgement for $5200 from the complex for new carpet (BS) and fee for breaking the lease and when I signed up they gave me 2 months off the front end of the lease. Anyone have any experience with this and know if all or any of this can be discharged?
