    confused??

    Help!
I looked on pacer and it says i am an asset case. We have just our household goods, our house that is worth 98 thousand but we owe 108 thousand on it so no equity, 3 very old cars that are worth about 1500.
    Thats it.

I do remember my attorney saying we could lose some of our tax refund and any stimulas that may come out. Could those 2 things be what makes it an asset case?

I thought, if your home and cars were safe meaning trustee couldnt take them cause of no equity, then it would say no assett. I am so worried i will lose my home and my children will be homeless. im so scared. It just really creeps me out that there is someone right now looking to take away our home. I worry because i heard that you cant even rent if u are bankrupt because of your credit. I actually had a bad nitemare because this is on my mind so much. I dont know how much more I can take.
My meeting of creditors is on Jan 6. I have never been so scared in all my life.

The thought of my children being homeless. OMG. I would rather take my own life.
I know its my fault that this has happened and I really feel like a failure.

    I live in Ohio.

sure could use a friend right now.

If you are expecting a tax refund that the trustee has expressed interest in then that would make you an asset case.

So your cars and home should be safe.

Hang in there. Call your atty and make them explain all so you can have a good holiday!

I think you won't be homeless.

I agree, your home and cars are safe through bankruptcy protection. Don't worry!

I agree to you should call your attorney and he/she can make you understand it a little better.

        Don't sweat it though.
