Our home is financed using owner financing. I know the man that sold us the home would love to get it back because property values have soared. Is it possible he can take our house when we file chpt.7? we have never been late on a payment and want to reaffirm the loan.we have only had the home a year so there is not much equity in the home. I would hate to file to get out of this debt only to lose my home. Thanks for any help!
