What happens between the 341 and discharge? Why the big lag? Are things in danger of falling through in that time? What if I come into money in that time period?

What about between discharge and closing?

During those 61 days nothing is going on provided there are no creditors that have resins to object. They could only object if your debt is not dischargeable. Hmmmm coming into money I guess depends on how much. If there is enough money to be worth the trustee going after they can turn you into an asset case.

We are 1/2 through our 341 and discharge. So far, nothing has happened. We just wait now and make a new plan for our finances along with a budget so that this never happens again.
