Well I do need it for work, but I don't want to get in trouble, but from what I understood, they only look at evevything prior to filing, that's why I asked, unless they will ask about everything I purchased after filing.

Honestly, I am trying to do everything by the book, but things happen and we still have to live. My son just moved to WA state for a job and I bought him a new mattress over the phone today on my debit card.
I'm a MOM, and my son isn't going to sleep on the apartment floor until he can afford a bed. If I get into trouble for buying a bed for my child, I will deal with it!Chapter 7 filed 10/21/2008
341 - 11/26 went smooth
NO ASSET
Took 115 days after 341 - But Finally DISCHARGED 3/25/09

But doesn't paying cash involve taking the money from your account? I mean if I just had $600 debited from my checking acct at Best Buy for a computer, then how is that different from me withdrawing $600 cash at the bank and going to buy the same computer at Best Buy? Are they not going to question a $600 cash withdrawal? Or do you just say you spent the $600 on misc living expenses?Originally posted by Help! View PostMy opinion (which is probably biased because of a very difficult Ch. 7 case) is that as long as there is any possibility of your account activities being scrutinized you should pay cash for anything that is not a basic need such as food, gas, housing, utilities, etc.
