I mailed it off this morning, priority mail, so they should have it by Tue. at the latest. I don't know how long it takes to get in the system, guess I'll start checking Pacer daily on Tuesday!

With the courts being overloading, I'm guessing that might take a bit but that is ok! I honestly have no reason to expect anything to go wrong so its just a waiting game now.

Oops, I posted to you about this on a new thread. I didn't see this one before I did that.
I look forward to hearing you say "DISCHARGED" soon!

We have an automated phone system here that tells you all about your case and any changes, so what would be the benefit of paying to use a pacer account?
I'll be able to get my case # easily that way. I didn't want to miss time at work to go downtown and file in person. (New job 8/1, missed a few hours a couple of weeks ago to consult w/ an attorney.) I've seen posts from others about using it to check for updates, etc. I don't think there is a phone update system here-that could vary based on where you are.
Before I printed everything out, I did look at a couple of other petitions. I guess I felt better seeing the 'real thing' on some that had discharged! Made me feel more confident about what I was sending in.
