    creditor question

one of my CC's is from overseas, when the mailings went out I got a notice from the courts saying the overseas one had not been sent as the lawyer wrote the address wrong..... so for me and the attorney to send it to the creditor ourselves. so I sent one. I am still getting letters from them asking for payment. They are on my matrix on my bankruptcy...I am in the 60 day club.. I am worried that after my discharge, they could still come after me for a debt, as they will not accept the bankruptcy as it it overseas.. I guess they would sell it to an american collection agency or what if they deny every getting it... could they have my case reopened? I owed them $3500 on a credit card. I never did a cerfified mail..I never asked the attorney how they sent theirs.... hmmmmm

Ok you should have sent certified. I doubt you will have trouble with them in your bk, but non-the-less, I would send it again and even put it in an envelope addressed to where you pay the bill. ‘Hub

Once you get the green card back with somone's signature on it, that is proof that someone picked it up. Also keep the post office receipt for the purchase of the certified mail service. That is your proof of when you mailed it.

        Good luck.
