He did not mention any return for me or anyone else during my session at all. I am DUE to be discharged next week, would I have heard something by now if the trustee had interest in my return?
You're not "out of the woods" yet. Even if you did get discharged next week your case might not be closed until later. You never know what might happen between the time of the discharge and actual closing.

The day that was my last day for objections, the trustee put an extension at 1:00 in the afternoon. It could happen at anytime. The courts would tell me that my case was simple and that I should have no problwm. As a matter of fat, I called that day to see if anything was going on and she said "you won't have any problems" Last day is today for objections. Well, 2 hours later the trsutee filed an extension. So anything is possible these days.

That is true, Jessiegirl, but hadn't you had "issues" before that? I mean, yours wasn't smooth sailing from the get-go, right?

I totally get that it can happen at anytime, but perhaps yours was an anomoly given your earlier situation?

As i had stated above after we filed our petition about 2 weeks after the UST trustee requested more infomation. Once we gave them the information we never heard anymore from them until the last day for objections. Thats when they put in for an extension.

It is not uncommon for the UST trustee to extend your discharge at the last minute, as i have seen many times on this forum. My attorney says that there are so many people filing that they cannot keep up and usually flag alot of people over 100K.
