My student loans are thru Wells Fargo, loaned in 2001. How do I tell, what do I ask, to determine what type of loans they are? (Dischargeable or not?) I believe 1/2 is a Stafford loan. I did the regular financial aid application, etc. before getting them, and they were paid directly to the school.

Student Loans/How to Tell?
Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.Tags: None

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.

I figured that-just read someone else's post and wondered. I'm due to make my 2nd payment next week after getting them back on time, and I hope its not for nothing!
