I have asked this before, but did not see an answer. I apologize if there was one. I searched too, but couldn't find anything.
We would like to sell one of our cars (payments are current - not reaffirmed) - not much equity, maybe $500-$1000 - but we just want to get rid of it (its a 2002 van with over 100K miles).
We are discharged but not closed. It was discharged as a no asset case. But tomorrow it will be 90 days after discharge and the trustee has never officially "abandoned", nor officially declared it asset/ no asset. No flags. Nothing at all that I can find on PACER (if I looking in the right spot - history?). There have been no objections.
Has anyone got any suggestions as to what I should (or should NOT) do to speed things up? Can we go ahead and sell post discharge, or do we have to wait for closing? I wonder if our paperwork got lost or something...
