Question about income

[mistake]

I just filed for chapter 7. It was a horrible year, obviously, and my
ex-husband paid my rent for me for six months. I never received rent -
he paid it directly to landlord. My question - is that considered income?
If it is income, then I am thinking I would also list it as an expense for rent?
Does anyone know the answer to this. I am very nervous about this as
I am doing it without an attorney.

It's not income since you never had access to it. It's not illegal to depend on friends and family to pay your bills.
