I received the notice in the mail today from the court about our ch 7. Where it says "presumption of abuse under 11 U.S.C 707(b) it says "the presumption of abuse does not arise". Who wrote that?? Who decided that I mean??

If this is a notice of filing, this is a statement based on the petition you filed. It's there to inform creditors that the result of the means test you filed does not cause the presumption of abuse to arise. This is a preliminary statement, however, and the status of presumed abuse can change if the case trustee or US Trustee disagrees with your means test.

That's what I thought, it is the notice of filing. I figured it was preliminary, too soon for anything else. Thank you!
