What do you do on your taxes if your home was forclosed upon in about November of 2009 and have not recieve any 1099 anything? Do I need to get a tax accountant or can I fill out the proper forms myself to do my taxes? My Wife and I are in the middle of a Chapter 13 but the house was not included in it. We have completed about 2 years of the Ch13 and have 2 more to go.Comment

The TurboTax interview process does not get you to Form 982. You need the CD/DVD version, which allows you to manually add forms. You would want to add form 982, and not add the 1099-C's.C7 Filed: 2009-11-06
