Income tax refund??

We filed Chapter 7 and we are a no asset case. We just did our taxes and sent in the information to our lawyer. We have a $600 refund from state and a $5000 refund from federal. I know we can't do anything with the refund until the trustee gets a look but will they take it all since we are no asset??? Or will they go ahead and let us have it?

It depends on the trustee - there is really no way to know for sure. I would prepare for the worst, but hope for the best... and whatever you do, let the money sit in case you're asked for it.
