Surrendered House and Homeowners Insurance

I am discharged today (not closed yet) but when do I stop paying homeowners insurance on the surrendered house.

Congrats! I think now would be a good time to quit paying it - you are off the hook for the house if you surrendered it in the BK. I know I've read differing views on that on these forums, but that's my take on it.
