Hsbc auto loan help!!!
long story short, i have a 02 subaru wrx...in great shape...only owe 8500.....ok, i got behind, and told them i wanted to file chapter 7....hsbc said...we will work with you????....account gets transfered to their ( workout dept) ....guy says, we will accept an agreement if you pay 848$ and bring your payments down...to 254$ vs. before 435$ well.....the problem is , i didnt come up with the exact amount, and the hsbc rep told me...that is not sufficient! ....so i guess they are going to come get car??? he says, yes. he told me the acct had to be paid with the amount of 848$ before the 1st of feb. he said he had to let the acct go back to collections because i failed to pay 400 $ on the 14th of jan...like i said i would. i told him that i misunderstood him, and thought i had till 1st of feb??? my question is, has anyone had similiar deal with hsbc? ...this realy is a great deal for me , however ...i just have to come up with the $$...also, i met with attry. and was wondering ...if i retain them real fast! can they work out something better with hsbc? or are they just going TO snatch my car. i dont feal like starting over with another car...im so close to owning this one....thanks for insight and all your help!
