Do i have to take credit counseling and wait 6 months to file bankruptcy?

or just take credit counseling then file bankruptcy.

You do the CCCS prior to filing and the certficate is good for 180 days.

Hopefully this ridiculous & worthless credit counseling requirement will end soon. Waste of time and money on everybody's part.

Yes, and it must be from agency approved to furnish counseling by a bk court in your district. You file without the counseling certficate and your case can be dismissed.
