how soon after being discharged from a Chapter 7 can you start to work on your credit rating? Or can you?
Our car will be sent back to the bank, but we are going to need another car ASAP! can we get a loan for a cheap car? I'm sure it would be at a high interest rate...???

If you look at the post BK forum some folks are getting auto loans the day after discharge.

I always heard car dealers loved to see Chapter 7 people come because they know they cant file again for some years. They can charge you huge amounts of interest and you cant discharge it. I mean you probably can, but I think its harder.

I'd like a newer car. But I also want to stay debt free for a while

You will get another car, but the interest rate you pay will be up to you to accept or decline...depends on how bad you want the vehicle.
