Buying a car before receiving discharge letter?

Hello everyone,

I had my meeting of creditors on the 2nd of January, I was told I'll receive my discharge letter within two months. My problem is as follows I surrendered my lease to dealership and I need to buy a car asap. Do you guys know if I buy a car cash at a dealership no financing can the trustee take the car before discharging my case in about 3 weeks from now?

How much cash are you talking about? I think if you bought a $10k car cash they will want to know where the cash came from? Are you using cash that they knew about and you exempted?
