    Pro Se Reaffirmation Agreement

We are reaffirming our car agreement. I am now reading that it needs to go before the Judge for approval ????

I have received the agreement from the lien holder - what do I do now?????

I'm reading about a 'Motion of Intent'????

    Thanks for the help

Yes, if you do not have an attorney, the Judge must sign off of the reaffirmation to make sure that it is not a hardship for you.

If you have an attorney and the attorney will not sign off on your reaffirmation, then it has to go in front of the judge too (same reason).

On the reaffirmation I did (only one) I was able to change the monthly payment, the interest rate, skip a payment and remove cross collateralization. So look at your reaffirmation with fresh eyes. All the negtiations were done with the BK dept directly at the CU over the phone and then put in writing and then recorded in Pacer once I signed and the attorney signed and the lender signed.

I am not an attorney. None of my advice is legal advice in any way..
