How far does BK look back at your reciepts if they do at all? How long should I keep them for? What types should I get? (gas, food, 7-11, clothes) Do I have to keep everything or just ones over a certain amount?

I didn't have to show any receipts. I had to show bank statements for the last 6 months prior to filing, and tax returns for 2 years.Originally posted by OKBK View PostHow far does BK look back at your reciepts if they do at all? What if I only use the bank to pay bills and and only deposit enough for that stuff into the bank? I would have lots of cash to spend on things like the dentist and the doctor but wouldn't they want reciepts for it all so they kow where its going?Originally posted by StartingOver08 View PostReceipts are only used if you have an item of interest to the Trustee. Like high child care expenses or high home improvement expenses just before filing.
