    Chapter 7 or 13

    I am just doing some calculations and I think I will have to do a Chapter 13. My attorney thinks that I can make up to 92K (combined) and it would be Chapter 7. The problem is I am about $5000 over. What should I do Should I get another attorneys thoughts. The median in this area is 78K.

    It all depends on your expenses, there are many posters here that were over the median and still able to file a ch 7. Go to this site: http://legalconsumer.com

    May 2008 Hired 1st Attorney/Stopped paying CCs
    May 21, 2009 Retained 2nd Attorney
    May 28th - Filed for Ch 7 (FINALLY!)
    9/11/09 - DISCHARGED!!!!
