    Pacer

We filed at the beginning of January. Our 341 is March 6. Is there any need for me to be checking this Pacer thing, or does our lawyer take care of that? What is the purpose anyhow. Sorry, if I am naive!

Stay away from it, it's addicting!

Pacer will provide details of everything related to your case that has been filed with court. Things such as when your meetings are, if you are classified as asset or not, whether or not you have extension. With that being said, your atty will have all of this info. It's more for the impatient- like myself.
You can do alot of research as to how your trustee works, but careful it's .08 a page!

I should also tell you that not everything is listed on Pacer, there are somethings the atty will only know....
    Filed: 11/25/08 - chp 7 no asset
    Discharged: 2/24/09 CLOSED 3/7/09!

Ya it helps me more in control of the process, my atty's office is really busy and it keeps me in the know.

I really think it was great to know which creditor I had listed- that way I knew what I have to do post bk to fix the credit with.

Pacer is going to be a quicker way of finding out anything, you can be on top of your case and any filings. Be careful, only click into something that has a new date at the top otherwise you will be charged. I am a mad woman, I'm always logging in.
          Filed Chapter 7 Petition: 12/22/2008

          341 Meeting: 1/23/2009
