should i wait to have baby before i file?

If i dont plan to file until may can i still tell debt collectors that i am filing and give my attorney's name and filing number?? or should i wait until may to tell them i am filing??

We were advised by our lawyer not to tell them until we actually filed. Most want your case #.

I was instructed to tell my creditors that I was going to file and have their calls directed to my attorney. I did that and it pretty much stopped the creditor calls for awhile. I also waited from my initial consult for several months before I filed. The delay was due to misinformation from my attorney, but the delay actually ended up helping me by putting time between some withdrawls from investment accounts so they wouldn't have to be used in the means test.
